To get into BML Munjal for B.Tech CSE, you'll need at least 60% in your Class 12 boards (with PCM + English) and a JEE Main percentile of 55 or above. But realistically, if you want to be safe, aim for over 60 percentile. They also consider CUET and BMU-SAT scores, so you've got options. The cutoff isn't insanely high, but the competition is picking up each year.

If you're choosing between VIT Vellore and IIIT Dharwad, go with VIT unless you have a very specific reason not to. It's got way better infrastructure, more companies come for placements, and the median salary's higher too; around INR 9.9 LPA compared to Dharwad's INR 7.2 LPA. VIT also has a bigger campus, more student activities, and a stronger alumni base. IIIT Dharwad is still new and growing, but VIT's clearly the more established option.

With Rank 93,444, getting ECE at VIT Vellore or Chennai is nearly impossible, especially under Category 1–3. Even Cat 4/5 usually close by Rank 45,000.
Here's what might still work:

  • ECE at VIT Andhra Pradesh or VIT Bhopal

  • Other branches (like Civil or Mechanical) at Vellore or Chennai under higher fee categories

Basically, you'll either have to switch branch goals or shift to a less competitive campus.

Yep, the AIIMS BSc Nursing syllabus is totally enough to crack the exam—as long as you study smart. Most of the questions are straight from 12th NCERT stuff in Physics, Chem, and Bio, plus a bit of GK thrown in. But here's the deal: it's a competitive exam. So just reading won't cut it. You gotta practice MCQs, solve old papers, and get quick with your answers. No coaching needed if you stay consistent.

After 80 percent in your boards, there is a reasonable possibility of you securing a seat in Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) in most of the under graduate courses. The eligibility criterion that most programs have is 40-45 % in 10+2 and admissions can usually be based on merit on results of boards. However, entry to certain courses (especially professional) may or may demand certain exam scores (for e.g. NEET to pursue MBBS course, JEE Main/NATA to pursue B.Arch course, CUET to pursue some BA/ BSc courses but not all). At 80% you will be well placed in the way of merit-based admissions.

Below 94 percentile, top Mumbai–Pune elite CSE seats (SPIT, VJTI, COEP, PICT, VIT Pune, PCCOE) are tough. Look at AISSMS IOIT, JSPM RSCOE, DY Patil Akurdi (borderline), PCCOER, Sinhgad Group (autonomous campuses), VIIT (only if percentile edges up). Consider MIT WPU (autonomous, private), SIT Pune (Symbiosis), and NMIMS (Shirpur/Navi Mumbai) via their own processes. Strategy: prioritise institute brand + placement cell over pure CSE tag, and explore IT/AI&DS with stronger labs.

Here's the thing: SRM Kattankulathur's CSE branch is super competitive. It usually closes below Rank 8,000–10,000. If your SRMJEE rank is 15,000, getting CSE at the KTR campus is a long shot. You might get CSE in SRM Ramapuram, Vadapalani, or even EC/IT at KTR, but pure CSE? Not likely. That said, internal branch upgradation later is possible; but risky and based on merit.
