It seems that you are interested in MBA/PGDM. Please remember every B-school has its own admission process, in order to know the exact process it would be always advisable to browse through the corresponding B-school's website you wish to apply.
In India, CAT and CMAT are the two tests which are accepted by maximum B-schools. CAT is conducted by IIM and CMAT is conducted by AICTE.
Other important tests for a B-school aspirant are IIFT , NMAT, MAT, IRMA and XAT . For the information about these tests you may visit their sites.
These tests mainly constitutes question from Quantitative aptitude, Data Interpretation, and English Skills. Some tests also take test of your General Knowledge.
After scoring the good percentiles you will get a call for further process. This process may include Group Discussion/ Writing skills/ Extempore/ Personal Interview or all of the above.
CAT will conducted this year from Oct 16 to Nov 11.
If you want to take these tests this year, start preparing for these. you will definitely convert to some good institute.
