No, it not mandatory.The minimum eligibility required for most of these courses is 10+2 or its equivalent. For becoming a game programmer, one should have B.E/ B.Tech degree in computer engineering. Online programs are also available in game design and animation.

You can go for PGDM course as nowadays this have more demand than MBA but PGDM must be done from some reputed institute. To find and get admission in good institute you must fetch good marks in CAT/MAT/XAT, etc. other than this you can go for some professional courses like ever green CA and some other like CS, cost accountant, etc.
