Hi Namya,
As you mentioned CBSE, therefore, I am considering that you seek admission in BE/B.Tech.
For admission in NIT, you need to have minimum 75% marks in class 12th.
For admission in Thapar University, the eligibility criteria is as follows-
Minimum 60% marks in class 12th and at least 20% aggregate marks in JEE Mains 2017.
Or
At least 80% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 15% aggregate marks in JEE mains 2017.

Hi Ruthvik, it is worth provided you know your career plans and you know that doing an MBA will finally help you achieve your goals. Again, which specialization you should opt for is one thing only you can know. Read articles about MBA specializations and see which one of them suits your needs. As a civil engineering professional you may opt for MBA General management or MBA HR. Regarding university and country, narrow down your choice after you have made a decision. Refer to QS ranking, Times Higher education etc for university charts. US, Canada, Australia are popular options. Best of Luck.

Hello Reshmi,
Cut-offs for last year was 100 for general category candidates. This year, it's not expected to change. But this only enables you to appear for JEE Advanced. Try to score more than 250 for seat in NIT.

Momentum is the quantity of motion of a moving body. In a basic sense, the more momentum a moving object has, the harder it is to stop. This is why you see the term used metaphorically like in the example of the sports team. It means the team is on a roll (generally, a winning streak) and is becoming a stronger team for it. The other teams will have a harder time stopping the team gaining momentum.
