Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. No, One with commerce with Maths background can pursue B.Ed course and take math as a teaching subject. If you want to become a Maths teacher/professor, then on the basis of Commerce degree you won't be able to become one. You will need to become B.Sc. Maths / M.Sc. Maths to be eligible to teach Maths in schools or colleges. The B.Ed Syllabus is divided into 4 semesters. B.Ed First Year Syllabus deals with 9 subjects. B.Ed First Year syllabus is divided into 2 semesters. Students will need to sit for 2 Exams for Each semester in B.Ed first year syllabus having 325 marks each. Hope it helps.
