Speaking frankly, BDS is a degree equal to MBBS because MBBS deals with the whole body and BDS deals with the head and neck, a BDS becomes a surgeon after completing his /her BDS degree but an MBBS cannot. An MS doctor is nothing less than an MD. People sometimes compare BDS with B.A. MS BPT is homeopathic, but the fact is there is a big differences between them. Now coming to your question, yes that fact in India people doesn't know how to show respect to a doctor they treat them as Labour or something
Bds has a greater scope in foreign countries with huge amount of income but Indian market value is little less but if you good with you

Hi Basha,
I'm happy that you are interested in reading books to gain knowledge but you cannot go with only this particular set or type books because some topics may cover in some different book which you are not aware of. So, I suggest you to go with more number of books if possible. If you are not able to get any details in books then go with online open sources, ebooks, api's, etc. which will help you to gain knowledge.

Hi,
Remember the most told quote "Failure is a stepping stone success"
Try again & work hard.
Majority of the C.A.s were passed not by the first chance , they tried again attained it.
If you still want to drop it B.com is a better option if you are a 12th pass or you already holding degree, go for MBA or write bank exams.
