The CMAT exam is scored out of a total of 400 marks. The percentile you achieve in the exam depends on the number of candidates who appear for the exam and their performance. The CMAT scorecard also provides the sectional scores for Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. To get above 80 percentile in CMAT you will need to score more than the majority of the candidates who appear for the exam. Based on previous years' trends, a score of around 260-270 marks out of 400 may help you achieve above 80 percentile. However, it is important to note that the percentile cutoff may vary from year to year, depending on the performance of the candidates who appear for the exam. Therefore, it is recommended that you aim to score as high as possible in the CMAT exam to increase your chances of achieving the desired percentile.
