B.A. Sanskrit is not offered in RIE, Mysore. They have programs as B.A+B.Ed. Admission to the B.A. Ed course should have passed CBSE Senior Secondary examination/ Pre-University examination of Karnataka or an equivalent examination of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry or the UT of Lakshadweep with 45% marks in the aggregate.

Hello Vijaya, Some of the exams that you mentioned are not even required to study abroad. But, if you are planning for MBA then GMAT or the GRE is required. There are other requirements attached as well, you have to be more specific with your desired programme of study for better guidance.

Placement in KIAMS is good, but it all depends on how you are able to get it. Faculty is really good in KIAMS. They are well experienced and give equal importance to every student. Both the campus are equally good.

No, it is not compulsory for to be from mathematics background only. A student who took PCB, can also apply. Although the paper would be having all four sections. You may choose to leave one section, do well in others and leave the rest on the evaluation. Believe me, it worked for me and others here in IISER.

The syllabus of UPSC is based on complete general studies and one optional subject of your choice. So you can choose any subject listed by UPSC in their syllabus. You can go through the UPSC exam syllabus for civil services on its official website. Maths is recommended and you'll be able to handle it with relative ease if you have engineering experience. Perhaps, because civil service exams do not include computer engineering, you could be better off keeping math as an optional subject.
