MBA IT is a 2year management program.Eligibility criteria is:
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent.>
OR
50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent with 80 percentile in CAT/XAT/MATor 600 marks in GMAT or State Level Entrance Test
OR
50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent subject to valid score in LPU NAT - PG(Management) 2012/2013
OR 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) with Interview.

As far as salary is concerned It depends upon u how tactfully and technically u have cleared ur interview not upon the degree or certificate u have with u.
No one can take guarantee for your job only you can decide whether you are confidant on your subject or not. Industry wants practically sound professionals so you are the best judge of yourself. Try to put 100% efforts to learn the deep knowledge because anybody can make you sit till the interview chair rest only you will have to perform. So please only rely on yourself.
