Its little bit difficult to say anythnig about VIT because last year around 4,720 students are offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai. Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling.
All major branches like CS, EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in chennai campus
