Is an integrated programme that has duration of 5 years that includes Arts subjects together with its Law curriculum, LL.B. B.A. LLB:
The B.A. LL.B. Course is offered by the majority of law universities across the globe. Students who have finished their class 12 from any stream can join this course. Only if students finish their studies from a recognised university will they become a certified lawyer. The curriculum of the B.A. LL.B. Course includes both practical as well as theory sessions. On top of this, they will also have to attend the court at times. The best thing about this course is that they will be getting a dual degree in Arts and Law, that too within 5 years. On the conclusion of their studies, students can either go for advanced studies or start their practice under a senior advocate. They can also join as advisers with firms.
Key differences between B.A. LL.B. and LLB:
While LL.B. Is Bachelor of Laws course, B.A. LL.B. is an integrated course in Arts and Law. Whilst LL.B. Solely focuses on the study of the law and its other pertaining subjects, B.A. LL.B. Includes the study of Arts subjects together with the syllabus of Law. Students who study Bachelor of Laws will only get a single degree whereas those who have taken the integrated B.A. LL.B. Programme will receive a dual degree. Both these courses help the students to get a more intimate idea about the legal system of our country.
