VIT Mauritius provides world-class education, research, innovation, and develops industry-ready professionals and entrepreneurs. It offers over 200 programs across disciplines. Some of which are Computer Engineering with specialisation in Data Science, Computer Engineering with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering, and more. The VIT Mauritius tuition is around INR 5 L for these programs.

The placement rate for BTech has not been released yet. When out it will be updated on this page. In the meantime, students can have a look at the total students and the nymber of students placed in recent years at SASTRA University:

IIT is more popular than VIT Mauritius. IIT is well known for its academic offerings, research opportunities, and strong alumni networks. On the other hand, VIT Mauritius is quite a new campus of VIT and may not have the same establishments and reputation. In addition, the cost to pursue B.Tech programs at IIT is way cheaper than VIT Mauritius due to the government funding.

 Over the years many BTech students have secured placements at leading companies during the recruitment. The table below provides the number of students placed from the year 2022 to 2024:

To be eligible for admission, students must receive at least a 55% overall in the PCM courses in grade XII or its equivalent, according to the Mauritius. Additionally, the institute anticipates that students will take English at the upper secondary level or at least attend an English-medium school. They must complete required courses such as Physics and Mathematics with an A-level, Form VI, Senior VI, or its equivalent.

VIT Mauritius expects a minimum aggregate of 55% in the PCM subjects in standard XII or its equivalent to become eligible for admission. Scoring 75% on the boards can improve the chances of being selected at VIT. The institute also expects students to take the English language at their higher secondary level, or at least belong to an English-medium school. They must take compulsory subjects like Mathematics and Physics with A-level/Form VI/ Senior VI or equivalent. The third subject can be Chemistry if interested in taking B.Tech.

NCSU MEM course is an Engineering-coded programme and it meets the STEM-OPT extension for international students. The university has waived the GRE requirement. The evaluation process may include the GRE score if students choose to submit it. To apply for this course, submit the following application materials:

• Three recommendation letters
• Academic transcripts
• 1-2 page personal statement
• English language proficiency score
• Supplemental questionnaire

MVN University provides sports scholarships for various achievements. For Olympic medalists, the tuition fee is fully waived. Other categories like Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Cup offer 50%-100% fee waivers, with varying percentages based on event level and participation. Local school/district participants receive a 10% fee waiver.

According to an unofficial source, the VIT Mauritius acceptance rate is between 50% and 59%. This shows that the university is moderately tough to get into and follows a holistic approach while selecting candidates for the programs. The university judges students based on their academic records, especially in higher secondary school or equivalent. In addition, students must score a minimum aggregate of 55% in the PCM subjects in standard XII or its equivalent.

MVN University BA offers a merit-based scholarship with varying tuition fee waivers: 50% for students with 95% and above, 40% for 90%-94.9%, 25% for 85%-89.9%, 20% for 80%-84.9%, 15% for 75%-79.9%, and 10% for 65%-74.9%. Scholarships are based on qualifying examination marks or CGPA.

Apart from the tuition fees, there may also be other one-time fees that students should be aware of in addition to the tuition for the MBA programme at NIF Global Andheri. These can include various fees, such as a security deposit, application fee, and other miscellaneous charges. However, the aforementioned fee structure has been sourced from the official website/sanctioned body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.
