you do not have any chance to get admission in College of Engineering, Pune with your AIEEE marks. So, wait for MHT-CET result if you score more than 170 , you will have a chance. So, all the best

Hi Apoorv, If you get Mech intrichy or WGl then you may consider. But I personally feel VIT -MEch is a good choice. I'm sharing this coz, two years back we experienced the same situation and went for VIT and we are happy about our decision.

from eligibility point of view for CAT, a person should have scores above 50 percent marks in his graduation and it should be regular course. then he needs to appear for CAT and get seomething above 99.3 percentile with decent sectional above 95 each section. once he is called for GDPI, he has to attend and perform well at the essay and PI part. depending on overall evaluation which includes academics, extra and co-currics, work-ex and other achievements, a person is given admission based on merit and seats available.

Hi Venkatesh,
Well with a commerce background, it would not be possible to pursue software engineering but as you are keen to pursue a career in IT, you can look for alternate courses like GNIIT course offered by NIIT which is a good option to go with as the curriculum support is strong along with the placements are being provided.
Also other than GNIIT, you can also take up BCA course from a recognized university and then opt for a MCA program as these shall offer a great IT career ahead.
As you have done your B.Com, I would advise to go for MCA instead a GNIIT which is a Graduate level program.
To know about the institutes offering MCA c
