There are many good courses in Delhi Maritime Academy, out of these courses I personally prefer Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS).

The DNS course is 1 year long course with 18 months of sea service, students can earn a B.Sc. in Nautical Science . They are provided with certificate of competency from the ministry of shipping, government of India. With the help of this certificate students can become navigation officers on merchant naval ships

There are chances of any misprint or error in the NIOS 12th mark sheet pertaining to either personal details or marks. Then the candidates need to contact the NIOS officials immediately. They should request the authorities to issue a fresh mark sheet. They should get the errors rectified as early as possible. Hence students are advised to verify the NIOS marksheet soon they receive it.
