MBA is something that you can take irrespective of your graduation stream. You can look for specializations such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Retail Management etc. as per your interest.
As you had Maths, it will help you score well in CAT (Quantitative section).
For your help, below listed are some books, that you may refer:-
Quantitative ability by O.P Sinhal
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning by Arun Sharma
Verbal Ability by Wren and Marten
CAT Solved Papers and Mock Test Papers by Pratiyogita Darpan
CAT Solved Paper by Upkar's
Logical reasoning and DI section by S Chand or by Pearson Education
Apart from books, also spend time for magazines like Business & Management Chronicle by Chronicle Publications and Competition Success Review or even newspapers would help like The Hindu, Economics Time or The Statesman.
To add on I would say to follow the 7 easy steps in order to crack the examination in one go:-
*Clear your basic Maths Concepts
*Work on your vocabulary

*Reasoning skills can be improved by solving puzzles
*Practice a lot
*Once you know your strengths and weaknesses, go for some full-length tests. Observe how you improve your score with each passing test.

You decision needs to be based on the following concepts; 1. Do you want to persue & grow your career in the company in which you are working right now or ar you looking for a change, 2. What kind of work do you have - Is it totally technical or is it more on the administration side. 3. What exactly you are targetting in your career. 4. In your present organization do you have cases where-in M.Tech or MBA have been given promotions. The answers to above questions would indicate the best alternative for you. If you are more technically oriented and if you field gives prominence to higher technical qualification then go for M.Tech. In that cse MBA can be done as an added qualification later also. Regular mode of education is the best and for M.Tech is all the more neccesary. MBA can be done through distance education if you are not able to find 2 years time for regular mode of education.
