In order to become a lecturer in any recognized university in India , one needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
1. Must have passed Masters Degree examination from a recognized university in the subject you would like to teach.
2. Must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree examination.
3. Must have qualified National Eligibility Test for Lectureship conducted by University Grant Commission mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%

There are many course options available after 12th Science. You must opt for the one which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goal.
After 12th in Science if you have studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry, you may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology).
[Eligibility criteria : complete 12th (PCB) with minimum 60% and sit for an entrance exam].
If you have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 12th then, you may go for engineering courses such as civil, mechanical, electronics etc.
