" To be eligible for JEE Advanced :
The IIT Council has clearly spelt out the eligibility criteria for students who have given their XII Boards in 2012, for those who are writing betterment in 2013 and for those who are writing their XII boards for the first time in 2013 and for foreign nationals.
* For Students who Passed Their Class XII Board Exam in 2012 :
The eligibility criteria for joining any of the IITs or ISM Dhanbad will be 60% marks in their 12th Board or equivalent (55% for SC/ST/PD candidates).
* For Students Who Passed their Class XII Board Exam in 2012 but are reappearing the Boards in 2013 to improve their performance:
1.60% rule will apply if they use their 2012 Board exam results
2.Top 20 percentile' rule will apply if they use their 2013 Board exam results.
This will be a one-time exception for JEE (Advanced) 2013 only.
* For Students Who Give their Class XII Board Exams for First Time in 2013 :
It is 'top 20 percentile of the successful candidates' in their Boards, category-wise. This will be a one-time exception for JEE (Advanced) 2013 only.
* For Students Where Percentile Score is Not Available From Testing Agencies :
In case the percentile score is not available from testing agencies [such as Pre-University exam conducted by a University, two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy, General Certificate Education examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka), High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University, International Baccalaureate Diploma (Geneva), Senior Secondary School Examination of National Institute of Open Schooling, three year Diploma recognized by AICTE / State Board of Technical Education and any Public School/Board/University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)] , the CBSE score for top 20 percentile of the successful candidates in the student's category will be used. "

Psychology signifies the scientific study of the human mind and behavior. There is tremendous scope in the field.
To build a career in Psychology, you have two options :
1)
If you have completed 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as your subjects, you may go for MBBS. And after that you may either do a postgraduate course (M.D.- Doctor of Medicine) in Psychiatry or a Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine (DPM) to become a qualified Psychiatrist.
Besides MD and DPM, The National Board of Examinations conducts a programme called Diploma of National Board Exam (DNB). The DNB is considered to be equivalent to a MD degree.
2)
To become a Psychologist, you need to obtain a degree in Psychology or allied subjects.
You may then go for Post graduation in the desired branch of Psychology (Clinical Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Criminal Psychology, Child Psychology, Sports Psychology etc).
You may alongside attend workshops and short term therapeutic / organizational courses to enhance your counselling skills and widen up your opportunities.
Then, opt for research programs and apply for jobs in public or private sector and acquire experience alongside in the related field.

If you wish to establish yourself as a Clinical Psychologist and open up your clinic, then, it would be advisable to enroll in those courses which are recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and be in touch with the council for the rules and regulations to obtain a licence. This licence will help you to open your own clinic legally.
3)
After completing the course, you can seek job in various sectors such as private industry, universities, schools & colleges, clinics, hospitals and in government agencies.
You may work under the management of doctoral level psychologists.
You can also work in sectors such as in health centers as assistant in administrative department and rehabilitation sector.
You may even work in research establishments, welfare organizations, child / youth guidance centers.

Six Sigma is a set of strategies, techniques, and tools for process improvement.Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes.
It uses a set of quality management methods, including statistical methods, and creates a special infrastructure of people within the organization ("Champions", "Black Belts", "Green Belts", "Yellow Belts", etc.) who are experts in the methods.
Each Six Sigma project carried out within an organization follows a defined sequence of steps and has quantified value targets, for example: reduce process cycle time, reduce pollution, reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction, and increase profits.

Preliminary Requirements:-
1)Get a four-year college degree. While a college degree is not required to fly for any of the regional airlines in the United States, a four year degree is required to fly for a major US airline. It's preferable to get a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in aviation (but your degree doesn't necessarily have to be aviation related). Airline pilot training is intense and expensive. A college degree helps to demonstrate to the airline that you will be capable of completing their education program.
2)Look around your local area for a good flight school and flight instructor to begin working on your private pilot certificate. The FAA minimum flight time is 40 hours, but the average is around 60. Schools with FAA oversight can be more desirable if you want a highly regimented training program.
3)Get a First Class medical certificate from a Federal Aviation Administration medical examiner. It is better to apply for a first class medical the first time you apply for a medical certificate to be sure you will qualify for one before you have invested too much time and money into your new career choice.
Advanced Requirements:-
1)After you earn your private pilot license, begin working on your instrument rating and commercial certificate. An instrument rating requires 50 hours of cross country Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument conditions. For the commercial certificate, you will need 250 hours total time, 100 hours PIC, 50 hours cross country, and 10 hours of dual instruction in a complex aircraft.
All pilots who are paid to transport passengers or cargo must get a commercial pilot's license with an instrument rating issued by the FAA. Helicopter pilots also must hold a commercial pilot's license with a helicopter rating
2)Complete your certified flight instructor (CFI) rating and begin working at your flight school. Some flight schools offer you flight hours in exchange for instructing for them. This can be useful when you go on to your multi-engine rating.
Pilots need flight experience to qualify for a license. Completing classes at a flight school approved by the FAA can reduce the amount of flight experience required for a pilot's license. In 2006, the FAA certified about 600 civilian flying schools, including some colleges and universities that offer degree credit for pilot training.
