The University is not that costly. The course fee is also not very high. The most higher fees is of the course BFA in Sculpture and Painting which is INR 13.2K whereas, the cheapest is INR 700. Average goes up around INR 5000.

The fee structure is quite affordable and not very hefty as compared to the other engineering colleges, so it goes like

for the B.Tech programme at JNVU.

  • Tuition fees: INR 1,96,000
  • Additional fees: INR 2,500

and also it varies from specialisation .The hostel fees are separate and in addition to that there are other charges also related to some special clubs or anything .The hostel charges can vary according to the accommodation.

MBA for both colleges are very much comparable in terms of placements and the highest and average packages. Fees for MBA in JNVU in government aided seats is INR 70,000 whereas INR 1,40,000 for self finance seat whereas for Jodhpur National University it is INR 1.1Lakh. Infrastructure is better in Jodhpur National University since it is a relatively newer college. Faculties for both the colleges are highly qualified professionals. Total seats in JNVU is 60 for MBA whereas that for Jodhpur National University is 90.

College Placements for B.Tech at JNVU is average. Around 70% students in Electrical Engineering (EE) gets placed on an average, and around 90% in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT) branch. Package may go as high as 18LPA to as low as 4LPA. Average package is around 10LPA. Companies like Google and Amazon, do come for intership selections and around 60% students get intership offers.

There are 3 specializations offered  under the 2 years duration MBA program.

  1. Under the basic MBA course (CMAT), the tuition fees for the government aided seats in INR 70,000 for 2 years. For the self finance seats the fees is INR 1,40,000 for 2 years.

One needs to have 48-50% marks in graduation to get admission to JNVU - Jai Narain Vyas University for MBA. There is no such percentage criteria mentioned to have in Class 12th, for one to be eligible to get an admission in JNVU for MBA. Although the criteria for Bachelor's courses in JNVU requires one to have above 50-60% (the exact figure depends on which course one wants to pursue), so to be on the safer side one should have atleast 50% marks in Class 12th. Although again there is no such criteria explicitly mentioned.

People's Opinion on JNVU:

  1. Placement: Universities placement packages are also good. 20-50 LPA packages are offered. Banks are top recruiters for example Infosys. The companies which come offers managerial and upper level roles too.
  2. Infrastructure: Hostels and campus both have wifi facilities and the hostel food is also good. There are all sorts of infrastructure available like, sports facilities, library, well maintained labs and classrooms. The hostel and campus building however are old and not regularly maintained.

The entrance exam scores accepted by JNVU - Jai Narain Vyas University for admission vary depending on the course and the quota. To get into Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), you need to have finished your 10+2 or an equal qualification.

To be eligible, you should have scored a minimum of 48% marks overall in your qualifying exam.
