Technically, B. D. college is a part of Patliputra University. There's many colleges under Patliputra University and some of them are bound to have different fee structures for various services they give.

Though Fee structure of B. D. College is not completely available at it's website, but as per other sources, There's comparable fees in most courses among many colleges, but you have to look at the course and specific colleges you are looking at to compare, as there are some which might be a bit more expensive in one over the other and converse for some other course.

Hope that helps

Whether it's best or not depends on a lot of questions, The course you want to pursue, the fees you are willing to give, you are looking for placements after college or further studies, which specific college you are looking at, and a lot others.

There's many universities which are better than Patliputra Univeristy such as NIT patna when it comes to many courses, one being Engineering among others. But then they charge a bit higher fees than Patliputra University in some courses, There's also faculty difference, The alumnis of each college, and whatnot which makes everyUniversity good at some things, and not so good at others. The minimum cutoff  for year 2022, From CAT, was around 80 Percentile whch was accepted by Patliputra univeristy. For an unreserved candidate, while for some reserved categories, it went to about 60 percentile.

For MAT, score of about 600 was sufficient enough to get into Patliputra University for an Unreserved candidate, and almost 500 for some reserved categories and for JMET, a score of around 300 was enough for an unreserved student to get into Patliputra University. going around 250 for many reserved categories.

These were some general cutoffs from previous year, thus it's likely it would stay similar for this year hopefully, b

The minimum cutoff is still not available to public but we can make aa calculated guess from the trends it follows.

like for last year, From CAT, around 80 Percentile was accepted into Patliputra univeristy, for an unreserved candidate, while for some reserved categories, it went to about 60 percentile.
or for MAT, score of about 600 was sufficient enough to get into Patliputra University for an Unreserved candidate, and almost 500 for some reserved categories.

These trends can change, but usually more or less stay similar enough.

These cutoffs along with minimum eligibility criteria such as 45% in undergrad are needed. and then you

There's a lot of considerations like category of the student, like whether a student is Other backward caste (OBC), Scheduled caste (SC) or Scheduled tribe (ST) or Unreserved. with each having some relaxations in Percentage criterias.

Also, There's many Entrance exams through which Patliputra University takes in students.
If you can come in merit list of any of those General Entrance Exams such as CAT, or even the direct University's own  entrance Test, and satisfy the 45+% criteria in Undergrad.
Then you are most likely good to go and can get into Patliputra University.

I hope that helps

A candidate can check the university cut-off and merit list of students on the official website of Patliputra Univeristy's official website.

A candidate can, also, alternatively check such details on third part sites, if they want to check the older trends of cutoffs too.
