Referring to the last three years' CLAT cutoff analysis, NLU Kolkata cut off 2023 for B.A. LL.B (Hons) was closed at 260 where as in 2022, the closing cut-off was recorded at 251 and in 2021, the closing cutoff was at 241. Thus, the minimum cut-off for B.A. LL.B at The WB National University of Juridical Sciences 2023 is 260.

BA LLB (Hons) was also the most popular course at NLU Kolkata because of the competitive ranks over the years as compared to other courses.

Taking into consideration of last 3 years CLAT cutoff analysis, WBNUJS Kolkata cut off 2023 for BA LLB (Hons) closed at 260 while in 2022 with a slight difference, it was closed at 251 and in 2021 at 241. On the other hand, for LLM, NUJS cutoff 2023 closed at 787, while in 2022 it closed at 538  (R4), which is slightly lower than the previous year and in 2021 at 418.

Yes The WB Natioanl University of Juridical Sciences offers better placemnets when compared to Faculty Of Law, University of Calcutta .

 NUJS will provide 100% employment to its outgoing batches for the past few years. On the other hand, although many great lawyers, judges and associates in firms are alumni of Faculty of Law, CU there is a lack of alumni connect. As per last records, In the Placement drive of 2022 at NUJS, a total of 80 B.A. LL.B/B.Sc LL.B and 54 LL.M students were placed. The median salary for both these courses is 16 LPA and 10 LPA respectively. The WBNUJS college will be providing 100 percent placements with the below packages :

Domestic law firms will be providing an average CTC of 15-18  LPA

International Law Firms will be providing an average CTC of 50-55 LPA

Overall the average CTC would be 12-14 LPA

The things that make the West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences unique are the campus environment is the excellent Faculty. The faculty is above par for majority of the papers. As for the fees it isn't significantly higher than that of other top NLUs. Yes, the size of our campus is not much but being at the heart of Kolkata we have access to all sorts of entertainment and of course good food! In-campus infrastructure is significantly improving as I write this, with wifi throughout the campus and air-conditioning (except hostels), the Kolkata humidity won't trouble you much. The West Bengal National University of Juridicial sciences is a very good college it is one among top 4 law colleges and the faculty is also very good and knowledgeable and many of the professors have deep  knowledge on the subjects they teach and they are as good as the faculty of law at University of Calcutta which is the public university at Kolkata . The infrastructure and faculty and course structure are very relevant and very good at West Bengal National University of Juridicial sciences and would suggest it as a top priority for your law course .
