Chandigarh University has shown remarkable progress in the International Research Network category of the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, rising by 112 positions to reach rank 94 in Asia.

In 2023 the CU was ranked 185th, followed subsequently by a ranking of 149th in 2024. This was followed by another upward trend: 120th in 2025, and finally 109th in the 2026 edition.
