Dear Roshan, when it comes to do MBA from distance learning, the only word comes in the top is IGNOU. This is the best university for distance learning. And, if you are worrying for course-fee, then let me tell you can complete the MBA within the reasonable amount. Specialization is also available here.

I would say that Taxila business school excels in placements due to the following reasons:
1) Minimum placement of Rs 12 lakhs.
2) Placement at least 6 months before the completion of course.
3) Taxila has been recently awarded for "excellence in placements" award 2017 by the education minister.

Yes, you can appear for GATE 2017 only if you have studied and acquired the entire course including the final year subjects too, because GATE is the exam which covers everything of the engineering. So, I would recommend you to understand the syllabus first and start preparing accordingly. Don't waste your attempt if you are not ready.

XIMB accepts NMAT score and You can get into XaHR (Human Resource), Xavier School of Rural Management (RM), Xavier School of Sustainability Management (some) only through your NMAT score. Generally, the cutoff for XIMB is above 180 as seen from previous years cutoffs analysis. But, you may still stand a chance of receiving a call and getting yourself converted at XIHR which is also a part of Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) as the cutoff of XIHR goes at low as 155 since last two years.
