The university conducts it's own entrance test, as Utkal University entrance test. You can purchase any PG entrance exam test booklet to prepare for the exam, and I think that will be good to clear the exam.

There are certain colleges which do not see the academic scores at all. You just needs to clear their required cutoff to get admission. These are: JBIMS, Sydenham, Somaiya, Welingkar (all located in Mumbai), SIES (Navi Mumbai), NL Dalmia (Thane district), and PUMBA (Pune).

My advice to you is that no college takes guarantee of getting 100% student placed. However, some colleges might provide 100% placement at a certain situation but no college can take guarantee in written to place students.

It is highly improbable to get into IIMS with 84 percentile. Going by the usual cut off trends of the IIMS, it has really high competition and hence, cutoff. The intake is generally for 95+ CAT scores. So, for general category, it's really difficult. However, you can try for other colleges which are equally good.
