According to NTA norms, aspirant who have Masters degree or enrolled in the post graduation degree, they are eligible to take the UGC NET exam. But make sure you fulfill all the basic requirements of National Eligibility Test. Candidates who are willing to appear in Upcoming UGC NET exam should be well aware with the eligibilities and the latest notifications of the exam. As per the NET exam eligibility criteria, candidates should have passed post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For OBC/ST/SC/PwD) marks from a government recognised institute. As you have in final year then you have to score minimum educational percentage. To appear for Junior Research Fellowship, you have to fulfill age criteria also I. e. your age must not be exceeded than 30 years (For General). Reserved categories candidates get the relaxation of 5 years. The National Testing Agency will start the UGC NET Apply Online process for June 2020 session from 16th March 2020.
