With a percentile of 92, your rank is around 70,000. With a rank of 70,000 in JEE Main you may get into government institutions. For NIT ( not the top NIT's ) you can try but it's a little difficult as the rank may not be satisfy their requirements.

However considering geography and commutation involved, it's better to select the college that is conveniently located. Else you can always think of doing via distance from say IGNOU.
