B.Com/BA Economics (Hons)/B.Sc./BA programme with Economics & B.Tech with minimum 50% marks at the graduation level from a recognized University
• Students who have studied Statistics/Mathematics with minimum 50% marks at graduation level from a recognized University
Selection Criteria: Applicants have to take online entrance Test followed by Personal Interview. Selection will be done on the basis of candidate's cumulative score in online test and personal interview. Selected candidates will be offered admission.

Its good to know that you have interest in Psychology.
1)
- To become a Psychologist, you need to obtain a degree in Psychology or allied subjects.
- You may then go for Post graduation in the desired branch of Psychology (Clinical Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Criminal Psychology, Child Psychology, Sports Psychology etc).
- You may alongside attend workshops and short term therapeutic / organizational courses to enhance your counselling skills and widen up your opportunities.
- Then, opt for research programs and apply for jobs in public or private sector and acquire experience alongside in the related field.

If you wish to become a qualified Psychiatrist, then you need to pass 12th in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to pursue MBBS. And after that you may either do a postgraduate course (M.D.- Doctor of Medicine) in Psychiatry or a Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine (DPM).
Besides MD and DPM, The National Board of Examinations conducts a programme called Diploma of National Board Exam (DNB). The DNB is considered to be equivalent to a MD degree.

If you wish to establish yourself as a Clinical Psychologist and open up your own clinic then, it would be advisable to enroll in those courses which are recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and be in touch with the council for the rules and regulations to obtain a licence. This licence will help you to open your own clinic legally.
