The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) offers admission to its B.Tech programs through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). JEE Mains scores are not mandatory for admission. CUJ conducts its own entrance exam (CUET) for B.Tech admissions. You can check cutoff marks of CUET for admission in CUJ. CUJ has switched entirely to CUET for all undergraduate programs, including engineering.

Hence you cannot get admitted into CUJ by JEE Mains anymore.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Central University of Jammu (CUJ) has a total tuition fee of Rs 14,215 for the first year.

After the fees of college there are other expenses such as cost of living, food and others.

• On-Campus Hostel: Around Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 per month (including mess fees).
• Off-Campus Rent: Around Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 per month (including utilities).

B.Tech, regular :

1. Minimum 60% aggregate marks or its equivalent in respective boards/universities at the 10+2 level.
2. Compulsory subjects is Mathematics and Physics.

B.Tech by Lateral Entry Scheme:

1. 3-year diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or college in engineering disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, or ICT.
2. Diploma marks should be at least 60%  or 55% for SC/ST category.

Optional Fees (one-time):

• Degree, Certificate & Convocation Fee:- Rs1,200.
• Alumni Membership Fee:- Rs 1,000.
• Orientation/Internship Fee:- Rs 2,000 (charged every year).

If you cancel your admission in any programme at CU Jammu, the fee entitled to be refunded will be processed after the completion of the admission process. For cancellations or withdrawals the entire fee collected from a student will be refunded in full, with a deduction of not more than Rs. 1000/- as a processing fee.If you have canceled your admission and wish to apply for a refund, you can submit an application to the university.

Undergraduate (UG):

Pass 10+2 from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE. Relevant subjects studied in 10+2 are crucial for admission to specific UG programs. Appearing for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is mandatory.

Postgraduate (PG):

Secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your undergraduate degree. Specific PG programs might have additional eligibility requirements.

Ph.D.:

Have 10+2 with Biology/Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Mathematics as a main subject. Have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent from a recognised board.

1. CUET UG 2024 (for Undergraduate programs): The last date for submission of the application form is March 26, 2024.

2. CUET PG 2024 (for PostGraduate programs): The application process is scheduled to be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

• Bachelor’s Degree -  Aspirants must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree of at least three years duration.
• Minimum Marks - They should have secured not less than 50% of total marks.
• Reserved Categories - For SC/ST and persons with disabilities, the minimum marks required are 45%.
