Hi Avinash. Selecting a branch is something that should be on the basis of your interest. Yes, the future opportunities matter, but if you dont perform well in your graduation, not even the evergreen branches will fetch you a good job. So the prerequisite is your interest.
Now in case you are the kind of person that can do wonders in whatever you pick up, the placements of computer science branch at both Manipal and Vellore are said to be best in terms of packages and brands visiting the campus. Mechanical of Manipal is equally good.

Yup, you do have a good chance of converting FS. IB might not be possible. The placements for all courses are on the same platform, and they are all good. You'll be eligible for all finance companies and profiles in FS. The scene will be clearer after the counselling process is done.
