IBPS PO syllabus is different for prelims and Mains exams. The syllabus for the prelims exam includes topics from Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning and English . The syllabus for the Mains exam includes topics from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude & General Awareness as well as the topics for Letter Writing and Essay for the descriptive paper. IBPS PO syllabus is given below:

Reasoning: Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test, Data Sufficiency, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Syllogism, Input-Output, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relation.

Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Profit & Loss, Mixtures & Alligations, Simple Interest & Compound Interest & Surds & Indices, Work & Time, Time & Distance, Mensuration-Cylinder, Cone, Sphere, Data Interpretation, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Number Systems, Sequence & Series and Permutation, Combination & Probability.

English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Spotting Error, Fill in the blanks, etc.

General Awareness: Financial Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Static Awareness

Computer Aptitude: Internet, Memory, Keyboard Shortcuts, Computer Abbreviation, Microsoft Office, Operating System, etc.

A degree or graduation in any field from a government-approved university qualifies an individual for the IBPS PO. of India or any comparable degree that the Central Government recognises as such. On the day of registration, candidates must have a valid marksheet or degree certificate proving their graduation, along with a breakdown of their percentage of marks earned. Every educational background that the test authority mentions should come from a government-recognized university, institution, or board. approved by the government, of India, or both. Authorities and the outcome ought to have been made public. Applicants in their last year of graduating are not permitted to apply to take the test. Candidates must present their educational qualification credentials at the time of the interview.

IBPS PO application form 2023 was released on August 1, 2023. The application process comprises various steps such as registration, uploading of scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, previewing the application form, uploading of left thumb impression and handwritten declaration and fee payment. Candidates need to fill the application form online only. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The application fee can be paid online only. The application fees are INR 850 for the General and OBC categories and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates. Candidates should check the details carefully before submitting their application forms. The examination authority will not entertain any changes in the details entered in the application form after final submission.

IBPS PO prelims exam 2023 was conducted online on September 23 & 30 at around 100 cities spread throughout the country. The prelims exam consists of three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The duration of the test is 60 minutes with sectional timings of 20 minutes. The test paper carries a total of 100 objective-type questions. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The mains exam comprises both objective and subjective-type papers. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Only the marks obtained in the mains exam are taken for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for interview.
