To get information on par time jobs, you will have to write to the university. They will be the best people to guide you on the part time job scenario.
Regarding assistantships, there are plenty opportunities available, however, if you have not been granted any till now, you won't be granted any. Scholarship/Assistantships are awarded at the time of admission.

If you are good, all you need is a determination to succeed. Management study is not all about passing an Exam, it is a bundle of packages including going through simulation training which only top B Schools provide. So look for what training programmes a student goes through while pursuing the course, and who are people giving the training. MBA is a serious course and it is meant for full bright students. There is no shortcuts to hard work.

Hey neeon, I cannot rate any academy but my frnd is in the same field and whole of his group has worked over Harry Potter-7 and now working for Titanic-II. He told me his whole batch of Vfx was placed via campus and they got this job. He has done the course from Frameboxx. I searched for content related to this academy after that and found its students have worked over Narnia, Shrek, Clash of the Titans, Thank you, and many more Hollywood and Bollywood projects. If they are getting placed that means they are getting trained well. You can inquire :)

MMS is Master in Management Studies,which is equivalent to MBA offered by Mumbai University.You have clear you CET followed by your group discussion and personal interview to get through it.MMS does not requires any work experience and a fresher can opt for it.
So basially they both mean the same just that MBA is considered as MMS under Mumbai University. But i suggest u to do MBA coz dis name give demands .
