Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure. The salary band can range between 03- 25 lakhs per annum.

Surender, If you are confused about careers after 12th/ graduation, there are a few ways to approach this. If you are very good with maths and programming, opt for Computers (BTech or BCA). I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. If you are good with Drawing and Creative opt for Design (Animation, VFX, Games, Fashion). If you are good with words become a writer (content, news, fiction, ads) or director. If you are good with keeping records go for Accounts or Stats or administration. If you are good with logic go for Law. If you are good at memorizing and love nature go for medical. If you are good with people go for Management. If you are good with nothing become a politican (haha, pun intended - actually you need very good insight into future for this). Wish you the best for your career. It's unfortunate that you didn't qualify for this year's GATE and will be re-attempting in 2016, however, do not wish to sideline your this year and are looking forward to a year long course.
As you have not mentioned the field that you wish to do your Master's in, I will be providing you details of all the sorted courses available.
Germany is very much known for its technological advancements, especially Automobile and mechanical. Few good universities that you can look for are

Most of the universities have English as the medium of teaching. For admission you might have to give GRE and IELTS / TOEFL.
Also education in Germany is government funded, there is a possibility that you might have to pay a minimal fee ranging from euro 140-500.
For more information on German Universities, I would request you to visit the nearest DAAD office. DAAD is officially authorized to provide information about education in Germany. They have offices in major cities in India.
If possible go for a German language course as it will help you find a part time job. A student in Germany can work 90 full days or 180 half days.

Hi Abhishek,Yes it is completely possible to pursue animation and BCA at the same time as in animation you will get Diploma courses.you should look for an institute which can provide you with this course.You will be provided with the diploma course as these type of courses will get you job ready in a few months and are also cost effective.Only your work is what that will be taken into the consideration during the placement.So,i recommend you to visit a good animation institution so that you can make a bright future ahead.Also keep that in mind that the institution can assure you for the placement after the completion of your course.When it comes to career options after BCA you will never get oppurtunities as good as animation.Some of the best institutions that i can refer you are:-

The procedure of admission will be on the basis of the marks secured in the 12th class. The candidates should have studied science as the main subjects with Physics, chemistry and mathematics. The candidates should have interest towards the area of computer science in order to take up this specialisation.
The basis of the selection will be through the entrance examinations. The exams are normally conducted by the respective institutes or the university.
If the candidate clears all the levels of the selection then they can secure admission for the course.
