Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. There are just a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS IT and EC have high placement records. Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.

CS branch ends around 5000 rank nowadays but you can get an Electronics stream which is equally good. if you want CS you should score a good CGPA (marks) in your first year of engineering , after that you can opt for a branch change.Your marks should be above 9 pointer and if not you wont be a given chance to switch your branch, but i think that's not going to be a problem because Electronics stream would be equally good.

Hey Aditya,
You can go for BJMC- Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication, B.Sc (Journalism) etc. It is suggested to go for BJMC as it would open a lot more opportunities for you.
