Hi Subahshree!
No, you don't have to write IICD exam to get admission in NIFT. NIFT has its own entrance exam that determines your admission in the institute. You can find the details here https://www.shiksha.com/design/exams/nift-entrance-exam.

Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 if they cleared their 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects studied. Apply for the Canadian student visa-

Hey there,
Did you get a rank displayed as per the result for your paper 2?
The cut-off given was that for those who qualified to write JEE Advance. Rank will be given even if you qualify or not.
According to me, 220 in paper 2 is good and you will get admission in nits. Only that you can apply for architecture branch. For other branches they consider the paper 1 rank. If you apply for architecture the rank of paper 2 will be considered.
For more information, kindly google the previous year's opening and closing rank of various NITs.

It is a procedure for admission in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges only for Tamil Nadu studied students or native of Tamil Nadu students who have done one of the class i.e. Viii, ix, x & xii outside of the state Tamil Nadu.
