Central University of Himachal Pradesh is a state university which was established in the year 2009. The University offers education in three-year full time under-graduate courses in B.Sc, B.Voc, and BA. honors.
It also offers Post Graduate Programs in Arts (M.A.), Science (M.Sc.), Social Work (MSW) and Management (MBA) in five major specializations.
The application for admission to the courses has to be filled online through the official website of Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
Admission to Bachelor's degree (UG) is based on merit in 10+2 examination.
Applicants to B.A., B.Sc., and B.Voc has to clear HSC examination with at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission.
Applicants who have cleared Prak Shastri Part II or Visharad examination are given 10% weightage in their composite score at the time of admission to Bachelors course.
Candidates applying in MA, M.Sc, MSW or MBA courses must hold Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates who have applied for Masters Course will have to appear in entrance examination conducted by the university.
The entrance test will be Multiple Choice based and there will be no negative marking.
The composite score for preparing merit list of PG candidates will be determined based on the scores obtained in entrance examination and marks obtained in Matric, 10+2 as well as Bachelor's examination.
To register for the courses, candidates also visit the campus to apply directly.
There is a relaxation in minimum qualifying marks of up to 5% in case of candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Persons with Disabilities Categories.

I Don't have idea abut DAMS College for BCA.I definitely understand the dilemma of selecting a university for your higher studies. If you are looking for best university for BCA course, I would say Lovely professional University is best University to pursue this course.
One of my friend told me that In BCA, you will learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective.
The curriculum is revised occasionally to keep students up-to-date and industry ready. They give a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Dont miss out on that as in the end, all we need is a decent place with good exposure.
Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum.
LPU provides Separate laboratories for all the domains: Programming Lab,Networking Lab, Systems and Architecture Lab, Databases Lab, Software Engineering Lab.
He has attended one day workshop on Digital Electronics was also organized by school of computer applications where students of BCA were taken to the digital lab where they got the live exposure to working on the instruments and equipment used in digital electronics.One day Workshop on Development of Mini MOOCs and Video Lectures was organized by School of Computer Applications.
Students are involved in various Co-curricular Activities like Android Workshop, ERP, PHP, LAMP, Guest lecture on database administration, Mobile Application development, Quiz IT, iPhone Workshop, etc.They organized a two-day hands-on Network Implementation workshop held in Lovely Professional University hosted by School of computer applications. The main focus of workshops is on creating awareness among students for Networking and giving students practical knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches.
The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is between 9 LPA to 11 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS and many other companies visit our campus for placements. But this is BCA that's why a lot of students think to do MCA from foreign universities.
