It depends from college to college. Some nits have annual fees of INR. 1.5lakh and some are little bit lower around INR. 1.2 lpa. But, fees of IITs are around INR. 1.6 lpa or above. So, IITs are more costly. But, who cares for that cost, which is making your life better in future. Also, people get various types of scholarships, so fees are no longer a burden to them.
