There should not be a comparison between CA and MBA. Both are independent and unique.
CA+MBA Finance is a good combination for corporate careers. However CA is ranked highest in accounts, audit & taxation and MBA is ranked highest in finance/strategy/management.
The difference between the CA and MBA is a bit like the difference between a five day test match and one day cricket. Acquiring a CA takes a lot of plodding and perseverance; at the end of the day, a result may prove inconclusive.The MBA, like one day cricket, is quick, glamorous and performers get faster recognition as stars.
This is not to say that one job is 'superior' to the other. But the fact is that, starting as a CA, you can expect to climb up the ladder up to the CFO position. While an MBA's career path could - in theory - lead up to CEO.
The word scope is too short for for CA and MBA. CA and MBA make a deadly combination in the corporate sector. the salaries may be somewhere around more than 7-8 lakhs and the upper limit is unknown. but MBA should be in Finance only. However Ca is a tough course to complete. and MBA is a tough course to enter.
The best strategy is after 12 exams. take admission in CA which ic now by an objective type test. then join a college for BCom or BBM since u cannot give mba entrance without being a graduate. and in the final year on b.com or BBM join bulls eye for cracking cat. meanwhile try n concentrate on ca as well.i hope this works with u.All the best.
