Aircraft maintenance engineers ( AME ) work in the engineering and maintenance department of an airline to ensure the availability of a safe and airworthy aircraft for an airline.
2)
A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.

- There are many course options available after completing 12th in Science. You may opt for the one which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goal.
1) After 12th in Science if you have studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry, you may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology). (ONLY if you fulfill the eligibility criteria).
