Hello rohan,
the eligibility for diploma in chemical is 10th and its duration is 3 year but if you done 12th with pcm or ITI then you will get lateral entry in second year and then it's duration is 2 year.

ICAR is not required for undergraduate courses, it is required for research purpose. It has no affect on a person's job.
