 Yes, you can take maths as an elective subject in DU if you're not maths student. It maybe quite difficult for you and I suggest you go for that subject which you were studied in your 12th class so that it will be beneficial for and can make your work more easy and interesting.

Hey! Both the universities are good for MBA. You can decide your on the basis of fees, hostel facility, infrastructure and distance from your home to college. Otherwise, both of them are top universities.
