Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), also known as Zakir Husain College or ZHCET, is an engineering college located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is affiliated with the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). As of my last knowledge update, ZHCET offers undergraduate (B.Teach) and postgraduate (M.Teach) programs in various engineering disciplines. With adequately numbered and highly qualified Members of the Faculty, the College enjoys an impressive Student - Teacher ratio of 10:1. Teaching quality is very good. Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, have experience in teaching.The College has an overall placement record of almost 84% for the last 5 years. During the last 5 years, our Faculty Members have published 15 books and 1660 technical papers, filed 54 patents, organized 68 Workshops and Conferences, carried out a consultancy work worth Rs. 4.75 Crores. The ongoing project funding is worth Rs. 9.31 crores. In addition, we have received a TEQIP-II grant of Rs. 15 crores from NPIU.

The college offers admissions at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology admissions are offered in streams like engineering and architecture, computer application and IT, etc. Some of the courses offered for Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology admissions are B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc., M.Phil etc. Candidates wanting to take admission in B.Tech/B.Arch needs to appear for Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam commonly known as the AMU entrance test followed by counselling. It is a university level examination conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. The mode of application of the AMU Entrance Test is online. It is to be noted that there shall be one objective type paper of 150 marks comprising 150 questions on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The college offers admission to B.E. programmes of which classes are held in the evening- B.E. Civil Engineering Evening, B.E. Electrical Engineering Evening, and B.E. Mechanical Engineering Evening. Students have to appear for an admission test for Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology B.E. admissions.
