Gladly, various universities and colleges in India provide admission to B.Tech IT programs without taking the JEE Main or MHT-CET exams. The admission procedure often depends on the student results in the board of 12th grade examination. Here are some options and criteria to consider:

List of Universities offering Direct Admission
Private Universities:

Some universities such as Amity University, SRM University and Lovely professional University as well admit students directly on the basis of their 12th grade scores.
Eligibility: The student must pass each subject individually with at least 40% along with a minimum total in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of average 50-60% in 12th grade Science.
State Universities:

A few state universities and colleges may provide management or institutional quota for admissions while also giving a certain number of seats for it.
Deemed-to-be Universities:

Institutions like Manipal Academy of Higher Education and VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) do their entrance tests but they also take 'direct admissions' sometimes on certain conditions.
Admission in Management Quota
As for entrance exam almost all of the colleges retain a certain percentage of seats under management quota and there is no entrance exam involved in it. But these seats are generally available at a relatively higher cost.
