The basic eligibility requirement to get admission into the BTech course at UAS Dharwad and CCS HAU is almost similar, in which candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream with an aggregate of 50%. Further, for the selection process, CAU accepts relevant ICAR CUET/ CCS HAU entrance scores. On the other hand, UAS Dharwad accepts relevant scores of ICAR CUET/ KCET. Hence, the only difference is the type of entrance exam accepted for the BTech course. Candidates can choose any of them that align with their career choices, location preferences, and affordability.

A new computational model shows how different patterns of crop rotation -planting different crops at different times in the same field -- can impact long-term yield when the crops are threatened by plant pathogens.

The continual evolution of plant pathogens poses a threat to agriculture worldwide. Previous research has shown that crop rotation can help improve pest control and soil quality. Other research shows that switching the environment in which a pathogen grows can limit its reproduction and change its evolution. However, these two concepts have been rarely studied together from an evolutionary point of view.
