Yes, there are two entrance exams for Karnataka:
1. COMEDK (for non-local persons)
2. KCET/DCET (Local Persons with 7 years locality in Karnataka)

*One must have completed his 1st year without any backlog/reappear.
*One should have the minimum percentage required in eligibility qualification of current year (in which student is seeking migration) .
*Student has to submit Migration certificate and Character certificate from head of present institute / university from which he/she is migrating.
*Mapping of transcripts is done and for this one has to pay mapping charges . If this goes well and there are no issues in mapping , one can join the university.
*After joining he supposed to spend 2 or more years in univers

The entrance exam that is used for admission in IITs for MCA is called IIT JAM (JOINT ADMISSION TEST FOR MCA/ M.Sc and other similar post graduate courses)
The Eligibility is to have at least 55% aggregate marks in the Bachelor's degree.

You can also do some short-term Certification/Diploma courses to gain some more skills after BCA as it adds extra weightage to your CV/Resume and you will learn many new things & improve it.
You can also opt for MBA /M.Sc IT.
You can also do freelancing from your place. There are several online sites offer freelancing work like Freelancer- Hire & Find Jobs, etc.
Last but not least, you can start studying or learn stuff to improve your skills and gain knowledge at home by self-studying from books and internet like learning different prgramming languages, software development, web development, etc.
