Hi, Aeronautical Engineering is one of the most challenging fields of engineering with a wide scope for growth.
To be eligible, one should have:
*10+2 or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with good aggregate.
*graduate (B.E/B.Tech.) or diploma in Aeronautics.
*pass the qualifying exam JEE conducted by the IIT's to join Aerospace in IITs or else he may pursue Aerospace Engineering through colleges coming under AIEEE like Punjab Engineering College, Madras Institute of Technology, SRM University, etc.

Initially, candidates begin work as graduate engineer trainees or junior Engineers. Keeping in view their performance, academic background and aptitude, they are placed for training.
On completion, they are placed as assistant aircraft engineers or technical officers. They have to clear departmental examinations for further promotions and may advance to administrative or executive positions.

As per your query, presuming your major concern to be placements,I would say that WLC would surely assist you with companies for your training as OJT (On-the-job-training) is a mandatory part of curriculum for all professional programs and even for the placements you need to make your own efforts as no institute can guarantee you that as it entirely depends on your capabilities and utilization of skills at the right time.
Apart from the assistance that your college might provide, I would suggest you to keep a track of HR consultants and also regularly make individual efforts so as not to loose in the end. Cinematography is a very challenging career. To start your career in Cinematography it would be beneficial for you to first complete your graduation in Mass Comm or Bachelors in Media as Cinematography is related to direction and requires a lot of technical knowledge. To start a career i would suggest you to join some good production house or an AD agency as a trainee to groom yourself or another good option for you can be to start shooting documentary films, do it as a free lancer or join any NGO and make a documentary for them. But first i would suggest you to go for graduation and after that go for film making course.

Dear RN Barathi, any institute can be checked on following criteria to assess whether students are looked after well and having experienced faculties:-
1. Go to Tamilnadu technical university website and check the list of AICTE approved colleges in the state. When you find your target college(in this case Madurai Inst of Engg) check if it is graded 'A'
2. Go to college website(in this case www.maduraitech.edu.in) and check department wise faculty profile. If 75% or more are having 3+ experience then consider it to be experienced faculty and who knows how to teach.
3. In college website check availability of Placement cell, student corner, photographs of seminars/workshops/cultural events and latest notices related to academics. If these are available then you can be fairly assured that students are well looked after.
