Master in Social Work is got good opportunities these days but just doing MSW might not be sufficient. You must then try to associate yourself with an important project such as those related to rural development or Women & Child health care so that you can create your own individual projects to work in this field. If you do MSW then you must be prepared to work in the rural areas in a hard way.

Surya, the phrase "worth of study" is different to each and other person. If you think of careers, you can get jobs in NGOs, CSR committees of corporates etc. post MSW. If you talk about satisfaction, it depends on the nature of a person and his helping mind towards society.
