On August 8, 2011, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication Aizawl, or IIMC Aizawl, was officially opened as the East Regional Centre of IIMC in order to expand its national footprint. It was founded to provide state information officials, public relations specialists, and media journalists with training. Numerous international, national, and regional news agencies, including Reuters, WION, PTI, The Times of India, The Indian Express, Mathrubhumi, and Malayala Manorama, employ IIMC Aizawl students. IIMC Aizawl currently only provides the Online PG Diploma in English Journalism as one of its two course offerings. The temporary campus is currently housed inside the Aizawl University campus.

The entrance scores of TSICET are accepted by SRM PG College in Karimnagar for MBA admission. On September 20, the SRM PG College in Karimnagar issued the TSI CET 2023 cutoff for Round 1. The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) is the entrance exam for admission to MCA and MBA programmes in Telangana-based universities and institutes. Every year, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education authorises Kakatiya University, Warangal, to administer the TSICET exam. Over 75,000 applicants applied to take the state-level MBA/MCA admissions entrance exam last year. Up to 14 places in Telangana will host the two and a half-hour computer-based TSICET exam.

Applicants must take the APICET in order to be considered for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes at SRM PG and Degree College in Karimnagar. To be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes at SRM PG and Degree College in Karimnagar, applicants must take the TSICET. Satavahana University, Karim Nagar's SRM Degree and PG College are approved by the respected AICTE. The institution has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is associated with Satavahana University (SU). Candidates are admitted to MBA programmes based on their performance in the entrance exam, group discussion (GD), and personal interview (PI). In addition to having a valid scorecard from exams like the CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, etc., candidates must have finished their graduation in any discipline. The IIM administers the Common Admission Test (CAT), a national business aptitude test, to candidates seeking admission to the MBA programmes provided by its 20 campuses and more than 1,200 B-schools across India. It is anticipated that the CAT 2023 cutoffs for admission to the IIMs will be between the 95–100 percentile range across all categories. The CAT cut off percentile for top IIMs is anticipated to be between 98 and 100 percentile for students in the general category.
