It depends. Are you applying for a Master's in the US? If so, they expect 16 years of undergrad. If you are applying for a PhD, you should have a Master's. There are also bridge programs for students who may not hold 2-year degrees.

for spouse visa u have to show the marriage proof. photograps, marriage certificate etc. may I ask on which visa u are going to either of the countries? if u are going on a student visa to theses countries then the process is entirely different and not that easy if you are going on immigration visa then automatically ur spose will be filling in a visa with you.
