WBJEE exam centres are the dedicated cities where the WBJEE JECA will be held. These exam centres are allocated within specified zones in West Bengal (and sometimes neighboring states as well). Candidates admission into NIT is based on depending on your All India Rank (AIR); top ranks (under 100) usually NIT Trichy or Warangal which are top NITs. Mid-range ranks (500–1500) get placements in mid-tier NITs like Raipur, Agartala, or Jamshedpur.

The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (in short called as NIMCET) is a national-level enteance exam which is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs at participating NITs and IIITs. It is conducted once a year and each year, different NIT conducts the exam.

NIMCET is more difficult as it is national-level exam. Its focus is on high-level Mathematics. On the other hand, MHT CET (for MCA) is state-level and emphasizes speed over complex conceptual depth.

The NIMCET exam is considered as a moderately difficult entrance test because only about 2% of test-takers secure a seat in top NITs.

The exam is highly competitive, with approximately 14,000 candidates competing for just 120 combined seats available at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu

Generally, JIPMAT is considered easier than IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak. Past test-takers have specifically noted that the Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability sections are relatively easy.

No, there is no sectional time limit in the JIPMAT exam. Candidates can allocate their time across the three sections as they prefer within the total 150-minute duration.

The medium of the JIPMAT question paper is English. Candidates do not have an option for any other language in JIPMAT exam.

For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 4 marks. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. There is no negative marking for questions left unattempted.

In NEET 2026 application process, the NTA has introduced the live photo capture facility for candidates. Those applying online for the exam need to capture their live photograph as per the given guidelines-

• Switch on the camera or connect the webcam to the device used for filling the NEET form. In case if the device does not support the webcam, then scan the QR code on the right side of the form.
• The background should be light-coloured.
• The NTA will match the captured live photograph with the Aadhaar database.
