Masters degree in marketing management (MMM) is a good course to pursue and it offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities.
There are an enormous amount of career opportunities and options for people with masters degree in marketing.
The most common are corporate positions such as marketing manager, brand manager, market research analyst, and product manager.
Persons with strong financial skills could seek a career in strategic or market related planning.

The eligibility criteria for Ph.D varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two research publications for the Ph.D programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years.
So, as per your query, I would suggest you to:
1. Shortlist the universities where you wish to apply.
2. Once shortlisted you may then contact the admission department of these universities to know the exact eligibility criteria for admission.
3. If you meet the eligibility criteria you may then apply accordingly.
