When you are preparing to move into the hostel at Lovely Professional University, it is definitely better to be a little organized so that you feel at home from day one. Based on what I have seen and experienced, you should definitely carry your basic bedding items like bedsheets, a pillow, and a blanket, although you can also buy them from the university store if you prefer. Toiletries like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, bucket, and mug are essential to pack beforehand. A few basic utensils like a plate, spoon, and a water bottle or flask will come in handy too. For your daily routine, you should bring enough clothes for all types of weather since Punjab can get quite hot in summers and chilly in winters. Don't forget to carry slippers for indoors and good shoes for walking around the massive campus.

You will also need your academic documents, ID proofs, passport size photographs, and a few stationery items like notebooks, pens, and folders. A small lock for your cupboard or suitcase is also smart for keeping your valuables safe. If you are into technology, a laptop is almost a must-have for CSE students, and a good quality power bank can also be very useful considering your long days at campus.
